The brown trail that runs through Magic Kindgom's Liberty Square is (apparently) supposed to represent the disturbing fact that it was commonplace in colonial America to throw the contents of bedpans straight into the street.
Yup, if this fact does prove to be true, the brown streak of pavement is Disney's subtle representation of a river of human waste. Delicious.
